Bring Inner Beauty to the Surface

Achieve beauty that lasts years instead of months.

Bellafill is a smooth, collagen-based injectable filler with PMMA, or polymethylmethacrylate. Bellafill is FDA approved to treat certain types of acne scars.

Bellafill for acne is an outpatient procedure and yields an instant smoothness that you can appreciate as soon as you leave the office. It has been clinically proven to last up to five years.

Treatment begins by cleansing your skin. A series of carefully placed injections then add volume to smooth away acne scars. Your treatment is relatively brief, so you may return to your normal activities as soon as you leave the treatment session.

Bellafill is the perfect filler to replace volume because it stimulates your own collagen and gives you the most natural youthful look. Bellafill is approved for use on men and women who are 21 and older, and is safe on all skin types, textures and pigmentation. Patients do require an allergy test before treatment.

At Ageless Wellness, Bellafill is injected by the medical director Dr. Jamie Walraven or the nurse practitioner, Linda Faulkner, FNP-C. Peachtree City Bellafill clients have told Dr. Walraven that they love the look and like that it both feels and looks natural.

Bellafill appointments take between 30 minutes and an hour, with no downtime.

One of the biggest issues faced by client Lucy Cawthon was development of cystic acne due to hormonal changes brought on by menopause. This led to significant scarring on her neck and face.

“I was very frustrated with the treatment plans that I’d sought from multiple physicians and dermatologists,” says Cawthon, before finally finding relief in Dr. Walraven.

“She came in because she had scars on her face that really made her feel self-conscious,” Walraven says. “Her scarring was so dense that it made her smile uneven.”

Walraven’s solution was to “remodel” the scars using a series of skin treatments. In the two years since she first visited Ageless Wellness, Cawthon has experienced dramatic improvement in both her hormonal balance and the scarring on her face.

“I think she’s had great results,” Walraven says. “There will be more improvement to look for as we continue to remodel her skin. She is not at her end result yet, but she’s happy with what we’ve achieved so far and is a lot less self-conscious.”
